We re-evaluated every detail and developed a completely new design for high-resolution music playback. A speaker that moves you – highly refined, detailed, natural. Or simply: just right. CONCEPT Unlike conventional speakers, the MOVE is a point source design built around a full-range driver. The entire frequency spectrum is reproduced by a single membrane – completely coherent, without a loss-prone crossover. The voice coil is essentially connected directly to the amplifier output. A super tweeter extends the upper frequency range from 10 kHz to 36 kHz, delivering extraordinary transparency – especially with high-resolution recordings. INNER VALUES The full-range driver in the MOVE is engineered down to the finest detail for a completely lossless reproduction of the amplifier signal. The long-excursion voice coil is centered solely by a newly developed rubber surround, eliminating the need for a traditional centering spider. Even the smallest nuances of the amplifier can fully unfold. One of the key design focuses was energy storage in the cabinet material. The result: a housing made from high-density fiberboard with just 12 mm wall thickness and minimal energy retention. The amplifier signal is converted directly into sound – delivering a particularly clear, energetic playback with excellent bass performance. SYSTEM THINKING The MOVE is the perfect match for our high-resolution network players – whether the MUSICBOOK Combo or the new WOODNOTE Combo. In combination with our active bass extension GROOVE, it forms a fully active reference-class speaker system with bass response down to 25 Hz. The perfect source for this setup? EXCEPTIONAL TECHNOLOGY The Musicbook SOURCE II delivers outstanding sound quality, thanks to dual AK4493S D/A converters in mono mode. Digital audio data is converted to a DSD signal with femto-clock precision – without using digital filters. This unique technology achieves sound quality that goes far beyond traditional PCM methods. PURE SOUND With the Musicbook SOURCE II, LINDEMANN takes a bold step: all digital input signals are converted via re-sampling into a high-resolution 1-bit signal (DSD 256). Offering 256 times the resolution of a CD, the conversion to analog is performed using simple analog filtering – completely free of digital filters or signal processors. The result of this "deconstruction" of the converter is a fully transparent musical signal: maximum resolution, vivid tone colors, unlimited dynamics, and an entirely new, “real” atmosphere that recalls the best of analog playback!

DSD RESAMPLING We are the only manufacturer to use an innovative two-stage converter design, which we call a de-constructed DAC. In the digital domain, a synchronous re-sampling and delta-sigma conversion produce a high-precision 1-bit signal (DSD). In the analog domain, volume control and DSD filtering are handled by the converter module – with an impressive bandwidth of 100 kHz. WHY A WOODNOTE BRIDGE? Digital audio is not just bits. It’s timing. And that starts at the source. Most streamers today are built like small computers: with processors, memory, and an ever-growing list of features that add little real value. But none of this automatically leads to better sound. The Woodnote BRIDGE follows a different approach. No computer in a hi-fi enclosure. No unnecessary signal processing. No “component overload”. Instead: a pure streaming transport with a deliberately reduced architecture – focused on what is truly audible in the end:timing, power supply, and signal integrity. THIS IS WHERE GOOD SOUND BEGINS. The Woodnote BRIDGE is the central source of your system. As a streaming transport, it provides the output signal for DACs, amplifiers, or active speakers with digital inputs – and therefore has a decisive influence on sound quality right from the start. The signal path remains fully digital. Additional D/A and A/D conversions are avoided – and with them any potential loss in sound quality. External sources can also be integrated directly via the digital inputs: CD and Blu-ray players, as well as a TV via HDMI (eARC). All digital signals are brought together in one place. A clear architecture. Consistently reduced to the essentials. PRECISION. TIMING. Digital playback is often described as “bit-perfect” – meaning an unchanged, exact reproduction of the original audio signal.But bit-perfect is about data – not about sound.Sound is defined by timing. And even the smallest timing errors – known as jitter – are clearly audible. This is exactly where the Woodnote BRIDGE comes in: with a MEMS femto clock, multi-stage jitter reduction, and synchronous re-sampling. The result: exceptional temporal precision – especially within the audible range from 10 Hz to 20 kHz. CLEAN POWER. An often underestimated factor is the power supply. Many modern streamers rely on switching power supplies and DC/DC converters – a source of high-frequency interference within the system. The Woodnote BRIDGE deliberately avoids this. A linear design with an R-core transformer and carefully filtered power supply keeps interference out of the system. External upgrade power supplies, often offered in this category, are therefore unnecessary. The result is greater calm within the system – and a more stable foundation for music reproduction. SIGNAL INTEGRITY. The digital signal processing stage is galvanically isolated from the DMP (Digital Media Processor). Internal processing remains separate – interference is prevented from spreading in the first place. Transformer-coupled outputs ensure stable, uncolored signal transmission – even over longer cable runs. The integrated volume control can be completely disabled if required. This allows the Woodnote BRIDGE to be connected directly to amplifiers or DACs. The result: a natural, dynamic sound with a high level of detail. CONTROL. OPERATION.
